Odd Walking Thoughts

“Scribbling numbers and circling correct answers isn’t being intelligent. It’s being molded. Sit in your cube. Scrub that whistle telling you when to piss and when to eat. Can’t we all just. When will we recognize intelligence for what it is. It’s not something that can be benchmarked. It’s the ability to say hello to an unfriendly room and connect the pieces to build peace within the hatred you walked into. You can’t test for greatness in ones heart nor in ones character by scribbling in check boxes to ensure we are all alike.”
The young girl put the book down. Afraid of what she’d just read.

  1. Agree. It’s so much easier to measure and place value on the generic things which don’t really matter.
