Into Which – Odd Walking Thoughts

Into which we point a view and ask others to follow while the cat strings a tail and twists a mind
to follow. A tear falls from the droplets of itself and purrs into a smile. “Isn’t this what you want?”
She walks away, with legs that you remember, and with it your memory.

Mountains do nicely #pros

Not all roads lead to Rome.
Some lead deeper into the woods.
Deeper into the mountains
and further from civilization.
I like getting lost in thought
while driving on roads that contain
very little in the way of society.
I find it helps to center me,
and helps to calm my anxieties.

Diluted #Poem

I’ve not seen anything built so strongly as
the crushing greyness of the waning
winter hours. As though the great gurgling
of Spring is hushed by a diluted punishing
lack of light; the voice of time had very little
left, and all of us feeling its weight,
are tightly packed into our seclusions searching
through the greyness for the smallest of exits.
