      • You did set up the setting and characters very well, that’s why the feel like is there so much more to come. Of course it is a short story so there it ended up to a hanging ended, and it makes me want to read more chapters. Looks like that’s your goal?? If yes, then you are a very effective writer. Overall – you are a good writer, one day you will have your own novel. 🙂 🙂

      • Yes! 100%, you nailed it. This makes me so happy! I absolutely designed the chapters as a platform for a novel and I do hope they publisher wants that as well. It comes down to reviews and sales. Can I share your thoughts with the publisher? Thank you again.

      • At first I was hesitant to share my thoughts because who I am to judge right? I am no writer. 🙂 One fact I know, I do read novels since a child, I started with sweet valley high then I went to more adult stuff, but now I barely have time to read. 🙂 Of course please share them to your publisher, because your short story has more feel of a 1st chapter of a novel than a short story itself. 🙂 🙂 keep me updated.

      • argh! What! You are a fantastic human and a peer. I can’t have you putting yourself down lol. Your opinion is important to me, and I’m sure to the rest of the world you life in. And if not, they better wake up! I have just emailed your thoughts to the publisher, thank you, and I will keep you updated!
